Meet Legs, one of the adorable fur-babies waiting to meet his forever family with Fur-Ever Homes Rescue.
Legs has been at the shelter since Furever Reflections has started volunteering in August. He's a little on the timid side, but he's still quite friendly and wants to share his affection. I remember taking him out for his photos - it took him a few minutes to warm up to being with us, but once he figured us out, he was a blast to photograph!
Legs is part Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound, so he has these crazy-long legs (hence the name!) and the sweetest soulful eyes. He's quite energetic and would best suited to an active home.
If you're not ready to adopt but want to foster, then maybe think about giving Legs a place to chill out in while he waits for his forever family to come along. Fostering is such a rewarding experience. I did it once, and ended up as a foster fail. Trust me - you won't regret it.
If you, or somebody you know, is interested in adopting (or fostering) Legs, then fill out an application form over at Fur-Ever Homes Rescue! Make an appointment to go meet this little cutie. Help spread the word, and maybe we can make this weekend the weekend Legs gets to go home!
Last week a lovely lady contacted me to ask if I would be interested in donating a pet photography session to the Four Foot Companion Foundation's upcoming fundraising event, Bone Appetit. Of course I was delighted that they asked me and immediately agreed to donate a Paw Prints Package as well as a $50 print credit for extra measure.
It looks like this is going to be a lovely event! Check out their website www.fourfeet.org for more information on attending! I'm going to try to go providing my schedule allows me.
Spread the word and let's help out our furry companions!
